MaxiMum Toys was established in December 2005 by Maxine Clare, herself a Mum to two young boys, hence "MaxiMum"! Maxine, felt that an internet toy company could be the answer for a number of shoppers including:

• hassled parents, whose worst nightmare is to take their children into toy shops

• people searching for a unique children's gift idea who value the convenience associated with internet shopping.

Maxine's criteria for each product has been:

• toys that are different or completely unique

• guaranteed high quality and safety

• great value for money

• something that she herself would buy as a gift.

About Maximum Toys (the products)

Our products are well packaged and attractively presented and where applicable comply with the relevant EN71 Toy Legislation. Every toy we sell has been successfully tested in the UK by an EC Toy Approved Body. They all carry the CE mark denoting that they have comply fully with BS 5665 and EN71 parts 1, 2 and 3. Should an item be unsuitable for children under 3 years, usually because of small parts, this will be specified in the description of the item. Because the products comply with all toy legislation, you can be assured that all paint is child safe and the product is suitable for its intended use. Descriptions are as accurate as possible but please note all measurements carefully and be aware that as many of the products are handmade, the colours, designs and measurements shown could vary slightly.We hold good stocks and aim to dispatch goods swiftly.
